Payment processing (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) is handled by Stripe on all projects and is paid by the homeowner. Your trade's HST, where they're registered, is included in each milestone and passed straight to them. There are no other Guildyn fees, and no HST is charged on Guildyn's fee.

The $29 per-project fee holds through December 31, 2026. Any change is announced at least 60 days ahead, and existing trades keep their rate.

What counts as an activated project?

A project where the homeowner has confirmed the work and the first milestone is set. Creating a project, inviting people, and sending a quote are all free.

Does it matter who creates the project?

No. Whether you start it or your homeowner invites you, the trade fee is the same $29, and your first activated project is free.

When do I have to pay?

Never up front. The fee is deducted from your first milestone payout on that project, so you only pay after you've been paid. It shows as its own line on your invoice.

Are there any other fees?

Homeowners cover Stripe payment processing (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). That's it — no Guildyn fee for homeowners, and nothing monthly for trades.
